matcha munch

problem
many breakfast options are either convenient but unhealthy, or nutritious but time-consuming to prepare. there is an opportunity to create a product that combines the convenience of a grab-and-go snack with a flavour that feels fresh, modern, and appealing to younger consumers.
insight
matcha has become increasingly popular for its unique flavour, health associations, and connection to wellness culture. pairing matcha with a portable cereal concept creates a snack that feels both energizing and convenient for busy lifestyles.
solution
i developed Matcha Munch, a matcha-flavoured cereal designed as a convenient grab-and-go snack. the project included creating the full brand concept, packaging design, and advertisement. the packaging uses bold, playful visuals and a fresh green colour palette to highlight the matcha flavour while making the product stand out on the shelf. together, the branding and ad communicate a fun, modern snack that combines convenience with a trendy flavour.

check out the rough sketches!

i created a wide range of rough sketches to explore different packaging shapes, logo ideas, and visual directions for the brand. sketching allowed me to quickly test concepts and experiment with layout, typography, and graphic elements before moving into digital development. through reviewing these ideas and refining the strongest concepts, i was able to develop the final design direction.
